Looking to investigate Low-code to help fill the skills gap?

If you’re looking to investigate Low-code to help fill the skills gap, or speed up development and improve customer experience, you couldn’t do better than starting with our MATs Low-code academy. If you’re just starting out on your Low-code journey, the questions which inevitably spring to mind are “what level do I need to be to join the course?” “what are the fundamental concepts I need to know?”

Natalie Jenkins, Product Marketing Manager, explains first hand after having recently joined the Low-code academy training course in the superb new training facilities in Bedford.

Natalie said: “Software programming experience is not required and I had no previous exposure to using the MATS platform. In fact, all that I needed to do was complete a short introduction to the MATS e-learning module prior to the first training session. The dedicated time away from the desk to focus on learning and the hands-on practice with the latest MATS software was excellent."

The platform is easy to work with and relatively simple to learn. It also has a great following and the MATS Community offers interactivity with other users plus plenty of resources including an AppShare.

The training also offers the opportunity to meet and network with other users. Natalie said “During my training session, I was learning next to people from a variety of backgrounds – transport, banking and insurance sectors. The instructor takes you through the platform in a logical process, demonstrating how these simple building blocks can deliver some remarkable experiences. I came away with new skills and also access to a Low-code community for help and support.”

Try our ‘Try MATS’ program! It’s free to join, so if you or someone you know would benefit from real hands-on experience of MATS building for a project, we can make that happen for you.

Anyone can become a member of the MATS Community, which offers the ability to book classroom training sessions in Bedford. It also includes:

  • a Training Academy – where registered users can access all our e-Learning material
  • a Resources Centre – with a large catalogue of downloadable technical documentation, including ‘How-to’ guides, release notes, and video guides.
  • a dedicated Q&A Forum for build advice
  • the option to make support requests
  • an AppShare where anyone can upload and their MATS creations – or download those shared by others.
